Dan the Fish Man:
Clovelly on the North Devon coast is home to Dan the Fish Man, and he is one of Newlyn Fish Festival’s best loved regulars. Dan provides a hugely entertaining and educational all round fish show for a younger audience. Kids get a chance to cook fish for themselves showing their parents just how easy it can be to produce healthy and tasty dishes in minutes!

Seafish’s Gus Caslake and Clare Leverton of Seafood Cornwall Training will on stand with a range of resources for kids and adults alike from regional seafood recipes, fish posters, fishy games, competition and information on all things fishy in Cornwall.. Clare will be on hand to give advice on fishermen’s training for both new entrants looking to train as fishermen and current fishermen requiring refresher courses.. Gus in his role as Seafish’s advisor for the Southwest will be on hand to answer any questions and provide information on the new Responsible Fishing Scheme, training for processors, catching, selectivity and advise on sourcing sustainable seafood in Cornwall. Meet the guys in the learning zone and get some answers to those fishy questions you’ve always wanted to ask!
