Gates open at 9am and close at 5pm when the harbour is returned to the fishermen who will begin landing fish immediately.
The festival site is a working harbour therefore only guide dogs are allowed in the harbour. There is a dog park at the Duke Street Car Park entrance but space is very limited.
From Penzance rail and bus station:
Walking: Keeping the sea to your left, 2 miles by road with a pleasant walk along the seafront and Cornwall’s only promenade.
By Bus: Routes 1 and 1A, 5, 5A, 6 and 6A
Taxi: from Penzance takes about 8 minutes.

As you near the festival site there are blue car parking directional signs on the roads pointing to the main festival car park on Newlyn Coombe sport’s ground. Head west on the A30 past Penzance, turn left down Newlyn Coombe at the Newlyn – Trereife crossroads – look for the car park after 1/2 mile on your left – £2.00 all day parking. Limited parking is also available for early-birds on Newlyn Green. Duke Street Car Park and the Harbour Car Park are closed to the public on festival day.
By boat – the harbour uses working channel 12.
Parking is available on Newlyn Green with a charge of £2. All vehicles must be off site by 0800 on the festival Monday. Parking is not available on the festival site.
