Newlyn Fish Festival – August Bank Holiday Monday

We’re still finalising lots of details for 2017, the 28th annual Newlyn Fish Festival. Rest assured, it will once again be one of the biggest and best celebrations of the sea, seafood and fishing in the country.

Fish cookery demonstrations, fish display, crab picking demonstrations, two music stages, luggers in the harbour, trawlers racing, gigs sprinting, children’s rides, entertainment and education, lots of fabulous food to enjoy plus art & craft stalls to explore.

In it’s history Newlyn Fish Festival has donated £265,000 to The Fishermen’s Mission for the benefit of Cornish Fishermen who are constantly at risk from the elements to land fish for our plates.  From the 2016 event alone we donated £15,000 to The Mission plus gratuities to local youth groups.
